Debt Free Living - Is It Possible?
How is it to have debt free living?
Life would be so great if there wasn't anything such as debt. It would be like Utopia. Imagine not owing anyone anything or having to pay bills. There would be nothing such as "interest" or "late fees," and everyone would have an endless supply of money. But guess what? There is no such thing as debt free living -- at least not completely debt free living. We're always going to owe people. Do you think Michael Jackson owned Neverland Ranch? Of course not. If he did he would not have to sell it to pay his little boy fees ... I mean legal fees.
The closest to debt free living is not owing too much money. There isn't one person I can think of who is debt free (except maybe Oprah. And that's only because she owns the world and all its possessions). Oprah is the only person on earth who has true debt free living, and how does she do it? Simple. First of all, she makes around $1 billion an hour; the rest comes easy. How can we be like Oprah and live comfortably and debt free? Well, that's even simpler. All you have to do is wait for Oprah to die and replace her. If that's too difficult, here are a few tips you can follow:
- Don't spend above your means (If you make a certain amount, don't go over that amount. Don't even go near that amount)
- Try not to use your credit cards for simple purchases (groceries, gas, etc.)
- As soon as you use your card, pay it off
- Try not to have more than one credit card, and use it only in emergencies
With these tips, you may not get rich quick, but it will help you get closer to debt free living. And after you have taken care of that, then the sky is the limit with where you want to go. Who knows, maybe debt free plans will be the catalyst to your wealth! you have to believe, people, that is the best way to start something great, like a debt free America!
